Turbans are a special kind of head wear used by people mainly in the Middle East, Africa and India. A turban is a long cloth wrapped around your head. A turban can be all white or colorful, large or small, depending on your choice. All turbans sit on a turban cap that holds the turban on the head, without a cap the turban would go lose and fall off your head.
Instructions
- 1
Place a turban cap on your head, above your ears (See Reference 1).
2Lay the cloth over your head. Allow an eight inch strip to hang over your neck. This will be the turban's tail (See Reference 1).
3Hold down the tail with the left hand and wrap the rest of the cloth around your head above the ears and over the forehead with your right hand. Change hands if you are left handed. Wrap it tightly so that the cloth will not slide later (See Reference 1).
4Wrap the cloth around your head five times in a slightly tilted way, so that the low-end of the cloth at the back of your head will move to the right slightly.
5Tilt the cloth after you have wrapped it around your head five times so that each circle is nearly vertical (See Reference 1). Always hold down the cloth at the back of your head with your left hand before starting to wrap a new circle.
6Wrap the cloth around your head horizontally when you only have two feet of cloth left to hold everything together and tuck the end of the cloth under one of the previous circles (See Reference 1).
7Tilt the entire turban slowly if it is too low on your head to move it slightly upward from your forehead.
