The classic tie style is a simple way to tie a scarf on your head quickly, if you need to add accessories to an outfit without much fuss. You can also use this if you are having a bad hair day. It is great for a more modest look as well.
Instructions
- 1
Fold your scarf in half so that it forms a triangle
2Place the folded scarf over your head so that the middle corner falls to the back of your head, covering your neck and the two other corners fall over your shoulders with the straight edge lying along your front hairline.
3Tie the left corner and the right corner once behind your head at the base of the back of your neck, beneath the middle corner.
4Take the right corner of the scarf hanging over your shoulder and pull it up over and around the top of you head, above your forehead and hold with one hand. Now do the same with the left side, holding securely with the other hand. So you should have your left hand wrapping one corner (the one hanging over your right shoulder) and the right hand wrapping the other corner (the one hanging over your left shoulder).
5Tie the two ends together behind your head, at the base of your neck. If the two ends dont reach, tuck them instead securely into the edge of the scarf along the edge of your head.
