Uses of Silk Gauntlet Gloves

A gauntlet glove is a type of glove that exists in a variety of fabrics and materials. A gauntlet often covers most of the forearm and extends just past the cuff, with little to no hand covering. Historically, gauntlets were part of armor, so gauntlet gloves were chainmail or armor. Today, gauntlet gloves range from leather to silk or other fabrics.
