How to Work a Pink Armitron WR 165 Watch

The Armitron WR165 is a digital watch available in several styles, including a women's pink model. Besides the standard time and calendar functions, the WR165 includes a 24-hour alarm, a chronograph with lap operation and a countdown timer. The watch is water-resistant up to 165 feet and features the Armitron Instalite, a luminescent display. Use the four buttons on the side of the watch to set the watch and to use the different functions.

Instructions

Set the Time and Calendar

Press the "Set" button. Press the "Adj" button to set the seconds to zero.

Press the "Mode" button to move to the hour setting. Press "Adj" to advance the hour.

Repeat Step 2 to set the minutes, month, date and day of the week. Press "Set" to save the settings and return to the main time screen.

Use the Chronograph

Press the "Mode" button once to enter the chronograph mode.

Press the "Adj" button to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop the chronograph. While the chronograph is running, press the "Set" button to record a lap. Press the "Adj" button to stop the chronograph and press the "Set" button to reveal the final lap time.

Press the "Set" button to reset the chronograph to zero. Press the "Mode" button to return to the main time screen.

Use the Timer

Press "Mode" three times to enter the timer mode.

Press the "Set" button. The "hours" setting starts flashing. Press the "Adj" button to advance the hour.

Press the "Mode" button to move to the minutes setting and press the "Adj" button to advance the value. Repeat for the "seconds" setting. When you are done setting the timer, press the "Set" button.

Press the "Adj" button to start the timer. Press it again to stop the timer.
