How to Wear Textured Tights

Accessories can make or break an outfit, but it can be difficult to find or choose the right ones. Adding a pair of textured tights can make all the difference. They come in a variety of colors and patterns, ranging from subtle to bold. Textured tights add flair and style to your wardrobe, and they can be worn in a variety of ways.

Pair solid dresses with any textured tight. Make sure the colors are complementary so the dress and tights don't compete for attention.

Stay away from bright textured tights when pairing them with a colored dress. Try deeper colors or a neutral tone instead.

Try a large pattern in a rich color for a bolder look that works well with a neutral dress.

Wear your printed dress with neutral tights so the patterns don't compete. Try a bolder look by picking a color from your printed dress and getting tights in the corresponding color.

Try a smaller pattern on the textured tights if your dress has a large print, and try a larger pattern on your tights if the print on your dress is small.

Wear shoes in the same color as your tights, not only will this elongate your legs it will help unify your outfit.

Pair sweater dresses with tights that have a subtle texture, so that the combination of the textures will be balanced.

Enhance your outfit by choosing one piece to be a neutral and the other a color, so that the ensemble won't be overwhelming.

Choose one texture (either the textured tights or the texture of the sweater dress) to be the emphasis of your outfit, this provides a place for the eye to focus and makes your outfit more flattering.

Try a solid pair of shorts in a neutral color with a subtle textured tight to add some flair to your look.

Pair with flats or boots and a blouse for daytime. Let the tights be the focal point of your look.

Add pumps for a look that works well for evening. Accessorize further with jewelry that complements the overall tone of the ensemble.
