Note the shape of the tag on the inside of the bag. A real Gucci bag tag has slightly curved sides. If the tag is perfectly square, it's a fake.
2Note where the '"G" monogram begins at the top of the bag. On a real Gucci bag, you'll note that the monogram begins with a small line that connects to the monogram. If the top of the bag runs through the monogram, it is a fake.
3Notice the color of the stitching on the bag. A real Gucci Pelham will have brown stitching. White stitching means that it is a replica.
4Notice the straps on the Gucci Pelham. A real Pelham has straps that are the same thickness as the decorative leather on the bag. If the straps are thinner, you are dealing with a fake Pelham.
5Be smart about the craftsmanship of the bag. If you notice something amiss, such as loose threads or disconnected hardware, then you'll know it is not a real Gucci Pelham.
