Wash a Vera Bradley bag to keep it looking clean and crisp. Dirt, smells and dander get on the bag from everyday use. Instructions

Empty the purse and all pockets. A small piece of gum left inside could ruin the bag.
2Remove any bases, according to the Vera Bradley website.
3Turn the purse inside out and place it in a washing machine with other like colors.
4Add the normal amount of laundry detergent you would use for a full washer load.
5Wash with cold water on normal cycle settings.
6Remove the bag. Lay it on a flat surface to dry for around 24 hours.
7Wet a washcloth with water. Pour a small, pea-sized drop onto the wash cloth and lather. Wipe off the base of the bag with the cloth. Rinse out the washcloth and wipe off the soap. Place the base on a flat surface to dry.
