How to Tie a Long Scarf Around the Head

Scarves can be looped around your head to keep your head and neck warm. They come in many different sizes and colors. Long scarves are usually looped around your head and draped down over the abdomen. You can buy a scarf that drapes down to your knees unless you loop it a couple of times around your head. Also, scarves often serve as a fashion accessory and are not worn for warmth.

Instructions

Hold an end of the scarf in each of your hands. Place your hands shoulder-length apart from each other while holding the scarf.

Place the scarf over your head and rest it on the top of your head. One edge of the scarf should be almost touching your forehead and the other edge should be touching the back of your head. Let the scarf drape down in front of your shoulders.

Take one end of the scarf, loop it over the other end and back around your head. The scarf will drape in front of your shoulders. Loop the scarf around your head as many times as necessary.
