Charging the Casio Felite
The Casio Felite ladies wristwatch battery is powered by a small solar cell inside the watch. To ensure that your Casio Felite charges properly, try to keep the face of your watch exposed to bright light as much as possible. When you are not wearing the Casio Felite, store the watch where it can receive a lot of bright light.
Specifying a GMT Differential
To ensure that the radio-controlled timekeeping on your Casio Felite functions properly, you will first have to set the GMT differential, which lets your watch know how many hours difference your location is from Greenwich Mean Time. Specify the differential by holding down the "B" button for 5 seconds until the seconds hand moves. Press the "A" button once for each hour of time difference from Greenwich Mean Time. Use the "B" button to exit the Setting mode and return to Timekeeping mode. In many cases, once you have specified the GMT differential, your Casio Felite may display the correct time without further steps.
Using Auto Receive
The Casio Felite wristwatch receives time calibration signals at six scheduled times throughout the day. Scheduled calibrations vary based on which GMT differential you chose when setting up your watch. Once one time calibration is received, the other five calibrations are not performed. Auto calibration can only be received when the watch is in Timekeeping mode. Do not attempt to configure your watch for 7 minutes before and after any of the scheduled calibration times; doing so can interfere with your calibration update and can cause the time on your watch to be incorrect.
Using Manual Receive
When the auto receive function does not work properly due to a low battery or configuration during scheduled calibration times, you can perform a manual receive for your Casio Felite. Begin by laying your watch on a table with the 12 o'clock side facing a window. While in Timekeeping mode, hold down the "A" button until the seconds hand moves to "Ready." Wait for the seconds hand to move to "Work"; this indicates that the watch is receiving the appropriate calibration signals. When the calibration update is complete, the seconds hand will move to "Yes" and the watch hands will move to display the correct time.
Setting the Time Manually
There may be occasions where you will need to set the time on your Casio Felite manually. To do so, enter Timekeeping mode and hold the "A" button for about 5 seconds. Use the "B" button to reach the appropriate hour and minutes. Holding down the "B" button for 2 seconds will cause the hands to move faster. Stop them by pressing the "B" button again. To change the watch from a.m. to p.m., press the "A" button, followed by the "B" button to change from the current setting. To return to regular Timekeeping mode, press the "A" button.
