Instructions on How to Change the Battery on an Allude Watch

Allude manufacture a range of inexpensive watches with metallic finishes and rhinestone details. The watches usually come with a limited two year factory warranty. The quartz watches come in a wide range of styles for both men and women. The batteries should last for about 18 months, but can be replaced with ease. You should change the battery when the watch begins to loose time. (Resources)

Instructions

Lay the soft cloth on your working surface. Place the watch face down on the cloth. The cloth will protect your watch face from scuffs during the battery changing process. (Ref 1 & 2)

Remove the back of the watch. If the watch has two small grooves on the sides of the watch back, simply slide the flathead screwdriver underneath the watch back and pop it off. If there are screws in the watch back, use the watch case wrench to remove the screws. Store the screws in a safe location to avoid misplacing them. (Ref 1 & 2)

Lift up the battery clip and ease the battery out with the flathead screwdriver. Take note of the battery's orientation. Place the new battery under the battery clip using the tweezers. Close the lid by applying pressure until it clicks on or by screwing the screws back in. (Ref 1 & 2)
