How to Set the Time on an Armitron

Armitron is an American brand of watch that is available in both digital and analog varieties. Although all Armitron watches come with instructions, it's not too difficult to misplace them and then find yourself not knowing how to set the time. Luckily, it isn't tough to do, whether you have an analog watch, a digital watch or an ana-digi hybrid. You should be able to fix the time to the proper one in about a minute.

Instructions

Set the time on an Armitron Automatic, which is an analog watch that doesn't have a battery. Find the crown on the right of your watch's face. Pull it to the right about an eighth of an inch. The hands should stop. Turn the crown counterclockwise until you get the right time. Push back in.

Set a battery-powered Armitron analog watch, such as the Now or the Men's Analog. Repeat Step 1, except pull the crown out a half inch instead of a quarter inch. If your watch also has a date setting, make sure the date is correct. If it is ahead, keep turning the crown counterclockwise to go back to the previous day. If it behind, move the time ahead 12 or 24 hours.

Set the time on an ana-digi watch. Set the analog time as in Step 2. To set the digital time, press the button on the top left of the watch's face until you see the time on the digital screen near the bottom of the face. Push the bottom left button and hold for three seconds. The seconds will flash. Push the bottom right button to make the seconds read zero.

Push the bottom left button again. The minutes will flash. Push the bottom right button to move them forward. Repeat to change the hour. Push the top left button three times to finish.

Set a solely digital watch. Press the button on the top left of the watch's face until the watch displays the time, as opposed to the stopwatch. Once you are in time mode, hold the top left button for two seconds. Let the button go. Then push it again. You will see the seconds flash. Push the bottom right button to make the seconds read zero. Push the top right button and you will see the minutes flash. Push the bottom right button to change them as need. Repeat for the hours. Press the top left button when you're finished.
