How to Spot a Fake Burberry Wallet

Burberry is a British company founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry. The original location of the store was in Hampshire, England. Over the course of a few years, business began to grow, more Burberry stores opened and the brand began to have a characteristic style. This signature style is Burberry's plaid pattern, often observed on Burberry wallets. These wallets are high-quality and made with materials such as twill canvas, leather and nylon. In order to spot a fake Burberry wallet, you need to become familiar with the design of real Burberry wallets.

Become familiar with the design of Burberry wallets. They often have a characteristic plaid pattern in gray, white and black, or black, red, white and tan. You can find examples of this pattern on the Burberry website or at a Burberry store.

Consider where you bought your Burberry wallet. Street vendors are not authorized to sell Burberry wallets, so if you bought one on the street, it's a fake. You can buy real wallets at a Burberry store or the Burberry online store.

Check the stitches of the wallet. If the stitches are uneven or the design is uneven, then you have spotted a fake Burberry wallet.

Look at the interior of the wallet. Burberry wallets have high-quality interiors and typically use canvas or sateen. If the lining of the wallet appears coarse or not sewn well, then the wallet is probably fake. Also, the lining of Burberry wallets often has the Burberry logo. If there is no logo on the interior of the wallet, it's most likely a knock-off.

Examine the Burberry logo on the exterior of the wallet. The real Burberry logos either consist of the name "Burberry," or the statement "Burberry Established 1856." A fake logo will have the name "Burberry" spelled incorrectly or have the wrong year of establishment.
