How to Paint Acrylic Nail Designs

Acrylic paints can be used to add flare to any nail. A small acrylic design can be added on top of regular nail polish to draw attention to personal style, interests and hobbies. A fine paint brush and a steady hand is necessary to create these small designs. The designs can easily be removed with nail polish remover along with the rest of the nail polish.

Instructions

Paint a base color of colored nail polish on your nails. Let the nails dry for two minutes.

Dip a fine paint brush into acrylic paint.

Press the paint brush onto a nail. The tip of the brush can be used to create dots and the side can be used to create lines. Use a combination of dots and lines to create the design you want. After adding all of the acrylic paint you need to complete your design, let the paint dry for two minutes.

Apply a final coat of clear nail polish. The final coat will seal the design and safeguard it from the elements.
