How to Organize Bracelets

Learning to organize your bracelets can help you avoid wasting time searching through a tangled mess to find the one you want. Most women have accessories which they wear more often than others, and this can be used as a means to organize them, but some women prefer to organize by color. It is also possible to make your own cheap and simple bracelet holders to more efficiently display them and avoid tangling.

Lay out your bracelets in front of you so that you can see them all. It is important to look at all of your bracelets together so you can think about the best way to organize them. To match the right bracelet up with the right outfit, most women opt to organize them through their color, but others may prefer to do so by material or by how much each bracelet is worn.

Find your most commonly worn bracelets. If you wear bracelets much more than others, it can help to put these over a separate bracelet holder or in a different compartment of your jewelry box. This is because you will be constantly removing and replacing these bracelets, and it may cause problems with your organized system.

Arrange the other bracelets on the bracelet holder tubes in any way you see fit. Use a rainbow-like system if you are arranging them by color, with intermediate colors placed between the major similar colors. For example, turquoise bracelets should be placed between the greens and blues. Alternatively, arrange the bracelets by material or style. These alternative arrangements can still be combined with colors if you wish.

Split your bracelets up into levels of formality if you are frequently attending high-class events which require the best. Arrange your bracelets into ones you wear on a day-to-day basis, ones which you wear from smart-casual occasions and others which are suitable for formal events. Arranging your bracelets in this fashion can help you choose an appropriate bracelet more quickly. Combine this with other sorting methods for increased efficiency.

Cut enough decorative paper to wrap around the toilet roll tube and so there is spare paper at the top and bottom. Over-cutting is better than under-cutting, so be generous with your estimation. It doesn't matter if the edges aren't straight.

Thread ribbon through the tube if you wish to make your bracelet holder easy to hang. Pull a single strip of ribbon through the tube. Cover the toilet roll tube in the paper so the decorative side is on the outside and stuff the excess paper inside the tube at the ends to hold it in place. This should hold your ribbon in place.

Make as many of these as you need to store all of your bracelets. You can attach several toilet roll tubes to the same length of ribbon if it is long enough. This can prevent bracelets from getting tangled, and makes display much easier.

Pull the ends of the ribbon around so they meet above the toilet roll tube. Push a pin through both of them, and then press the pin into a door or wall you wish for it to hang.
