When most people think of a belt, a strap of leather with an attached buckle most often comes to mind. However, another variety of belt exists: a strip of leather or sturdy fabric with two metal rings attached to one end. These belts bear the name "D ring" or "two ring" belts and they enjoyed popularity in the 1960's. If you've never worn one before, it might seem impossible to secure it, but you can achieve a snug, secure fit with this type of accessory.
Instructions

Hold the end of the belt that doesn't contain metal loops. Feed it through the belt loop on the side of your waist that is opposite your dominant hand. For example, if you're right-handed, feed it through your left belt loop.
2Thread the belt through all of your belt loops. Pull the belt so that an even amount of belt dangles out from either side.
3Hold both ends in front of you. Take the tail of the loopless end of the belt and feed it through both loops as much as you can.
4Pull the loopless end of the belt over the metal loop closest to it and under the following loop. This will take your loopless end of the belt in the exact opposite direction.
5Pull the loopless end of the belt to tighten it. Tuck it in against the horizontal portion of the belt so that it faces downward, or thread it through the nearest belt loop.
